An egg does not earn Money. The pet does, and only after the countdown on your base reaches zero and you open it.
Place, wait, open
- Steal an egg from a zone pet or from another player.
- Put it on your base. The egg shows its own countdown.
- Leave it until the timer ends. Reported opens run from a few seconds on a small egg, to 8 minutes for one stolen Saturn Cow egg, to about 3 hours for a golden Phoenix egg and 3 hours 20 minutes for one Eternal Dragon egg.
- Open it. The pet occupies a slot. Equipping the pet or the egg shows either the Money-per-second rate or the remaining open timer.
- Slots are limited. You can unequip pets one at a time or in bulk. Base upgrades add slots. One mid-game slot was 50 million Money.
Claim the Animal Index entry before you sell or fuse that pet. The index is also a Speed source, not only a sticker book.
What the egg is telling you
Fuse Lab eggs are the size signal with a clear rule. A big fused egg is the normal result and hatches a giant of that species. A small fused egg is the rare miss and hatches a mini with a low earning rate. Weight follows the same idea: the lab is how you ask for a heavier egg on purpose, by deleting three pets of one species.
Mutations are a separate trait. The official how-to-play line lists them next to rarer eggs, pets, and sizes, but it does not name the mutation list. If you fuse, the best mutation among the three pets you submit is the one that carries onto the egg.
Reported hatch examples
These are single observations. A later hatch of the same name can earn a different rate if the size or mutation differs.
| Result | What was reported | Open time in that report |
|---|---|---|
| Puppy | 2 Money per second, first stolen zone egg | not stated |
| Saturn Cow | 2.3 million per second, stolen from a player | 8 minutes |
| Eternal Dragon | 135 million per second, volcano exclusive eternal egg | 3 hours 20 minutes |
| Golden Phoenix | 1.6 billion per second, Cerberus exclusive egg | about 3 hours |
| Spider | 12,500 per second, stolen zone egg | not stated |
Pets with no reported rate, including Mammoth, Walrus, Snake, Maha, Megalodon, and Yeti, are still listed on the pet pages. Do not treat a missing number as zero.
Promotional art on the Roblox page shows large creatures and overlay income text. Those overlays are not the rates in the table above. Use the number on the pet after it hatches.
